Andrew O'Donnell
Andrew has been an athlete since age 5, playing various team sports (soccer, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, and football to name a few). At the University of Notre Dame, he joined Bengal Bouts, a major boxing club, where he learned the importance of balanced and consistent training. One summer during an internship, his employer introduced him to triathlon. He immediately became hooked on endurance sports, especially cycling.
While pursuing his PhD in probabilistic risk analysis, Andrew joined the Notre Dame Cycling Team, winning the Midwestern Collegiate Cycling Conference Championship four times and earning a bronze medal in the Team Time Trial at the Collegiate Cycling National Championship.
Before founding Core Wrk in 2024, Andrew served as the Assistant Vice President of Operations for the world's leading data, technology, and analytics partner to the insurance industry. During his tenure his team focused on IT administration, project management, internal audit, process improvement, knowledge management, and data analytics.
Certified in Schwinn Indoor Cycling in 2018, Andrew began teaching cycling classes at several luxury fitness facilities in Boston. He designs authentic road biking workouts and aims to connect meaningfully with his athletes. Through his experience in the fitness industry, he has seen the challenges that many new businesses and practitioners face when trying to launch or expand. This motivated the creation of Core Wrk to be a trusted business partner to practitioners looking to establish themselves in the fitness and wellness industry.
